Our Beauty Balms or Be-You-ty Balms are beauty treatments for the gentle areas around the eyes and the face. As we get better with age, collagen production decreases after age 25 and even more in menopausal women, and nourishment is very much needed to keep the skin moisturized and healthy! The animal fats we use in our beauty balms contain natural collagen, saturated fat, and vitamins A, D, E, K, Biotin & B12 coupled with essential fatty acids that hydrate and improve skin elasticity and will form a protective barrier over the skin to seal in moisture.
Our Beauty Balms also comprise of Oleic, palmitic, palmitoleic, linoleic, stearic, alpha‐linolenic, and gamma‐linolenic acids.
Oleic acid is great for dry, aging skin which penetrates deeply and easily into the skin surface replenishing lost moisture that is caused by age. It also contains compounds that reinforce the integrity of cell membranes.
Palmitic acid acts as an emollient, softening the skin and helping retain moisture by forming an occlusive layer which helps to remove dirt, sweat, and excess sebum from the skin.
Stearic acid acts as an emollient and has been shown to protect the skin's surface against water loss and build up the skin's protective barrier.
The suppleness of our beauty balms when applied to the skin is unmatched and will improve the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and age spots.
